Hearing Through the Heart: An Evening of Poetry, Equity and Dance at the Gallery Poets: Rosa Castellano and George Longenecker Dancers Alana Rancourt Phinney and Mireya Guerra Friday April 5, 7:00 pm Through narratives of racial injustice and social inequality, the poets hope that the heart-opening nature of poetry and dance will provide a bridge to compassion so that we can see glimpses of ourselves in the stories of others. When we listen together and allow ourselves to be moved together, something passes between us and leaves a mark. The poets will be accompanied by professional dancers.
