February Vacation Camp 2/25-3/1 2019! Time Travel in Art Hours 8:30 am on drop off, start 9 am and pick up by 5:00 pm $340 for the week, (Gallery members $315) $75 a day (Gallery members $70 a day) For kids 7-13 Join us for a fun, creative and learning experience traveling through time and making art beginning with cave paintings by first nation and aboriginal people and Egyptian art. Drawing from realism and then move into visual impressions, paintings from dreams and abstract pop art, make box art (dioramas) and more! Led by artist and educator Ellis Jacobson. There will be time for games and outside play too! CAMP IS FILLING UP, REGISTER SOON! ( Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are filled, still a few openings for Monday & Friday!)
April 4 & 5, 2019 School In Service Days Camp EXPRESS YOURSELF! Explore expressive arts including splatter paint, mono-prints, "press" painting, random result art, sculpture, contour drawing, plus art games and creative group games! There will also be time for outside fun. Led by Ellis Jacobson!

April Vacation Camp April 15-19th Woodland Creatures led by Janice Walrafen Hours 8:30 am on drop off, start 9 am and pick up by 5:00 pm For kids 7-13 $340 for the week, (Gallery members $315) $75 a day (Gallery members $70 a day) For kids 7-12! Who lives in the woods? We will share stories, images and games, and make art of all sorts: sculptures in clay, papermache masks and costumes, drawings and paintings of your favorite and made up critters . Time for outside play too! The last day of camp (Friday afternoon) will be include a short performance. All creatures are invited to join, in costume, for All Species Day Parade held on Sunday, May 5, in Montpelier.

1.June 24-28 Cartooning, & Graphic novels Led by artist and educator Jeni Belotserkovsky. Vermont cartoon artist Robert Brunelle will come by to share and discuss his work. For kids 7-13. (No camp week of July 4) 2.July 8-12 Cardboard Creations! Led by artist and educator Alex Morse. Make masks, fairy houses, game boards, work on a group mural and more! For kids 7-13. 3.July 15-19 People, Pets, Wild and Fantastical Animals and Creatures! Paint, draw make clay figures and to live in, a home for your people in the natural and built environment, set in the past present and future! Led by artist and educator Georgia Landeau. 4. July 22-26 Puppet Show Creation, back by popular demand! For kids 7-13. Led by Ellis Jacobson 5.July 29-August 2 Heroes of Summertide: A Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition summer camp adventure with Ben t. Matchstick (for campers ages 9-13) Ready for the world's most popular role-playing game of Dungeons & Dragons? No prior experience required for this camp for creative kids. Dungeon Master Ben t. Matchstick will guide you along to as you build your character: a great warrior, an elusive wizard, a trickster rogue. You will feel the heat of battle terrible monsters and delve into diabolical dungeons filled with traps and puzzles. We will tell great tales together and build an immersive fantasy world using miniatures, maps, models, dice and our imaginations. Drawing, storytelling, game design and cardboard castle making are also within our grasp- if you dare. All materials provided, but bring your sense of humor and a thirst for adventure. 6.August 5-9 Trash to Treasures:Recycled Art Creations! For kids 7-13. Scrounge around your closets, clean out those broken toys and things that seem to have no purpose. Pilfer through your recycling bin. Bring all types of clean and unneeded bits and pieces to this hands-on art making experience. We'll have lots of recycled materials for you to build and create with too! Led by artist and educator Janet Van Fleet. 7.August 12-16Naturally Art! For kids 7-13. Art Camp in collaboration with nature, learn to make and work with natural art materials and create beautiful hand crafted papers from leaves, grass and flowers, gelli plate printing, nature sculptures, and even some Andrew Goldsworthy inspired installations. Led by artist and educator Jen Anthony. 8.August 19-23 Myths, Legends & Fairy Tales. For kids 7-13 From Bigfoot to Champ, Unicorns to critters people, real and imagined animals and more. Let your imagination go wild! Build an environment for your creations Dragons and Zeus to Rhiannon. Explore myths and legends both modern and ancient. We will draw stories, create artifacts and treasures to ward off evil or bring luck, and bring our own modern stories to life through clay, sculpture, paintings, collage, drawing and more! Led by artist and educator Jeni Belotserkovsky.
